Apoticari
Paris, France
2026
Project designed in collaboration with
AHYUN CLAIRE SON
For its first Parisian store, Apoticari, a cosmetics brand celebrated for its use of natural ingredients sourced from the Auvergne region, invited us to imagine a space that would bring the rituals of the traditional apothecary into a contemporary setting.
At the heart of the store, we conceived a bar where infusions and preparations are served as though prescribed by an apothecary of another time. Copper vessels, carefully arranged shelves and niches displaying ingredients, and herbs left to dry in full view of the customers establish the atmosphere of a working laboratory. The bar itself incorporates the very herbs used in the brand’s ointments and infusions, cast into its surface as a material expression of the brand’s botanical identity.
Welcomed with an infusion, visitors are invited to follow a corridor where the properties of the ingredients and the methods behind their use are revealed. This gradual passage culminates in a space conceived as a sanctuary, where an oversized basin lends depth and gravitas to the presentation of the products, inviting customers to explore them through a more intimate, almost ritualistic experience.
Through the interplay of historical references, natural materials and contemporary design, the store transforms the discovery of skincare into a sensory journey, bridging the worlds of the apothecary, the laboratory and the sacred.
