Bienaimé, the famed perfume house created in 1935 by Robert Bienaimé, was revived by Cécilia Mergui after she fell in love with its aesthetic. Following her desire to offer a complete experience to the client she tasked Paul de Saint Maur with designing a boutique in an updated art-deco style in collaboration with the artistic director and decorator Damien de Medeiros.

A clear geometry of three alcoves allow the products to shine in a jewel-like setting made of oak, terrazzo and brass. Rich, understated materials offer both a sense of luxury, calm and history to whomever steps inside. As for the geometry, it allowed to create a coherent space out of a nonparallel cube and define three clear areas, one for display, another for the ritual of ablution and the third one for a counter where a wrapping ceremony takes place before each client.
