This bed was conceived as a crossing between a painting, notably with the framed headboard, and architecture with its solid and well proportioned structure. Hence, it evokes both the solidity of a home and delicateness of a piece of art. Both of these aspects substantiate what a bed is the place for.

Originally intended for a castle, this piece is designed partly to be able to interact with a grandiose architecture and hold its own in such a setting without the need for additional clutter.
